The Mémorial de la Catastrophe de 1902 — Frank A. Perret Museum is a museum in the town of Saint-Pierre, which holds the “Musée de France” (Museum of France) designation and has been managed by the Clément Foundation since 2018 as part of a public service delegation.

The collection on display in the permanent exhibition of the Mémorial de la Catastrophe de 1902 – Frank A. Perret Museum commemorates the eruption of Mount Pelée and the destruction of the town of Saint-Pierre. This place was designed to meet the expectations of a diverse audience in order to promote the construction of a shared heritage by providing information and knowledge through direct contact with ongoing research. It is intended as a site for anchoring memory and an instrument of cultural influence by appealing first and foremost to the humanity of each of its visitors and showcasing shared history and memory with a global focus.
