For more than 20 years, GBH has been a partner of Lycée Marguerite Jauzelon, meaning that it has played an active role in the education of classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles students, who are preparing for competitive university admission exams. This year, eight well-deserving students have just received a scholarship to enable each of them to fully fund their internships in South Africa.

GBH is proud to present the classe préparatoire aux grandes écoles students at Lycée Marguerite Jauzelon in Saint-Denis who have just received a scholarship at an official ceremony. This scholarship, presented by Michel Lapeyre, GBH Indian Ocean and Africa Director, recognises eight particularly well-deserving students this year and covers all foreign-internship costs. "Every year, we recognise the top students in each section. We are contributing to the success of eight students by funding this foreign internship", explained Michel Lapeyre, who established this partnership in 2004.

These internships within its subsidiaries help students to gain practical experience and put their theoretical knowledge into practice. Interested students should fill out an application and take part in an internship dating session. The juries, which are made up of human resources managers and business managers, assess the applicants during these interviews.

Following this internship dating, a debrief is held with the classe préparatoire students, who are preparing for competitive university admission exams, in order to provide them with valuable tips to ensure that they are successful in future interviews, including their CV and presentation. The list of allocations is then shared, marking the end of this presentation. It should be noted that not all applicants are selected, making this experience a real interview simulation, giving students an early taste of their future interviews at business school.

Selected students get the chance to do a 3–4 week internship at GBH.

Over the past 20 years, GBH has taken on nearly 750 interns and awarded around a hundred scholarships to students from this college. This partnership, under the "Overseas Future by GBH" banner (known as the "Avenir Outremer by GBH" locally), illustrates GBH's long-standing commitment to students and young graduates.

In Réunion Island, beyond Lycée Marguerite Jauzelon, the Group has been a partner of the School Management and Commerce (ECG) of the Réunion Island Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIR) and of the School of Management (IAE), within the University of Réunion Island, for over 10 years.
