Martinique pour l'Emploi, a job fair focusing on local employment. Hot on the heels of its successful first edition where over 127 job-seekers found employment, Pôle Emploi, Martinique’s job centre, and its partners (GBH, Medef, CCIM, AMPI, Contact-Entreprises, CMA, CPME, FTPE, CTM and the Prefecture) are coming together for a second edition of the local job fair: Martinique pour l’Emploi. This second edition will offer both online job interviews, from 12 to 25 September 2022, and face-to-face interviews, on 20 and 21 September at Hôtel La Batelière.

A native of and committed to Grand Ilet, Maximin Maillot created his poultry farming business for egg production in 1975 with the desire to develop a strong economy in his village. For 3 years now he’s been working in organic egg production. “In real terms, GBH has been working with local agrifood industry players for 35 years,” explains Amaury de Lavigne, director of Carrefour Réunion.

Clarisse Albac had a wonderful academic career that led her from Bellepierre to Shanghai by way of Bordeaux. She has returned to her island today thanks to a GBH job advertisement in a group company that recruited her for her first internship. The young woman is a HR administrator at Automobiles Réunion in Saint-Denis, and she conducted face-to-face interviews and gathered CVs over the two-day Job Fair at the Nordev exhibition centre.
