GBH is the official partner of the Transat Jacques Vabre Normandie Le Havre 2021 race, bound for Martinique for its 15th edition and setting sail from its starting point of Le Havre on 7 November. For the first time in its history, this famous transatlantic race — one of the longest and most demanding — is heading to the French West Indies. 

For three days, world-renowned skippers co-steered a dozen Martinique yole boats with Martinique yole sailors just for fun!

GBH supports healthcare workers in the French Antilles, French Guiana and Réunion 

GBH is set to provide 1.35 million masks to healthcare workers in Guadeloupe, French Guiana, Martinique and Réunion, free of charge.

Since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic and despite the pressure on their stock, the three overseas food banks continue to pursue their mission to help the region’s most disadvantaged. On Wednesday 19 January 2022, the FFBA (French food banks federation) and GBH signed a partnership agreement to help with the growing demand and replenish stock that is currently at its lowest levels. This is the first time that the food banks network has received such support across all three overseas territories at the same time.
